Partnered with the Howell Area Parks and Recreation Authority, the Howell Area Aquatic Center is proud to offer an incredible selection of programs. From our Learn to Swim lessons, special events, an in-house massage therapist, many public swim times to our large variety of fitness opportunities. Choose from land fitness classes, group cycling, casual spinning or water exercise classes to keep you motivated. Your safety is always important to us, and all water programs include a certified lifeguard and an instructor that is certified or specially trained to help you get the most from your chosen program.
Never been to an Aquatic Center fitness class? Take the first class for free; simply tell us how you heard about our programs! We believe in you and value your trust in our services, so please call if you have any questions or comments.
We are located on the West side of the Howell High School campus. Enter off Highlander Way Road north of Grand River Ave. and south of M-59/Highland Rd. Turn east onto the service drive, then follow the signs to the pool parking lot on the left (past the bus garage entrance).

Information
The Howell Area Aquatic Center features an L shaped pool measuring 25 yards by 25 meters, with a 14 foot deep diving well and a 3 ½ foot shallow end. We offer two 1 meter springboard diving boards, a 10 foot drop slide and a 10 person hot tub. Our capacity is 250 people, and we offer separate locker
rooms for students and community programs allowing you to get ready for the rest of your day. We are handicapped accessible both in the facility and the pool itself, and even offer a wireless internet
wellness lounge for you to relax before programs or while you wait.

Rentals at the Howell Area Aquatic Center
Are you planning a birthday, graduation, shower, or
anniversary party? The Aquatic Center is the place for your next party! Rental includes certified lifeguards and exclusive use of the water slide, diving board, swimming pool and hot tub (14 yrs. old and up). Extend your party to our
observation room where you can decorate and host
refreshments.
Full payment is required to reserve your exclusive date and time. Please keep in mind that you are responsible for maintaining adult supervision for all children in your party, both in the pool area and throughout the facility.

Looking to make your rental more unique? The Aquatic Center is proud to offer our new inflatable WIBIT activity center as an additional option to enhance your event, or your own Flick ‘N’ Float movie. The WBIT is an additional $50, and a movie will be an additional $35!

On occasion, the Aquatic Center experiences a body fluid contamination in the pool. On these occurrences, we are required by the Health Department to deal with each incident in a sanitary manner depending on the severity of the incident, we may have to close for up to 8 hours. In most instances, we can reopen within an hour. We realize this is a sensitive topic, and that not all incidents can be prevented or avoided. We wanted to make our patrons aware of this and help you understand that these situations are beyond our control and will not result in refunds when they occur.
