While we won't be keeping any official scores, children ages 3-6 will be hopping, jumping, skipping, and racing at the Bennett Recreation Center on Tuesday, June 11, 2013! Check it out at www.howellmelonfestival.com GENOA & MARION TOWNSHIP BECOME FULL MEMBERS OF THE RECREATION AUTHORITY We take great pleasure in announcing that Genoa and Marion Township have approved becoming full participating members of the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority at the Tier 1 level.  All corresponding benefits of full membership in the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority, will take effect with the Spring 2013 program offerings, and will allow all Genoa and Marion Township residents the lowest rates afforded to participating municipalities. Click here for more information. MARION DISC GOLF COURSE The Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority has opened the first 18-hole disc golf course in Livingston County.  The Marion Disc Golf Course was designed by Jim Davis from Envision Disc Golf and will be open for play year-round from dawn to dusk for free.  All holes are considered par 3 and players must provide their own discs.  Course is located at 2877 W. Coon Lake Rd. MRPA FOX THEATRE SATURDAYS We are excited to announce that the Howell Area Parks & Recreation Authority has joined forced with the Michigan Recreation & Parks Association (MRPA) and the Fox Theatre to offer discount tickets to shows at the Fox Theatre on Saturdays.
